WELCOME TO THE PRESBYTERIAN HISTORICAL SOCIETY OF IRELAND
Thank you for visiting the website of the Presbyterian Historical Society of Ireland. We hope that you will find this site useful in your quest to find out more about the history of Presbyterianism in Ireland.
TEMPORARY DISRUPTION TO SERVICE
Work to improve and upgrade the storage of the Society’s archives and printed special collections will commence on 31 January 2012. From this date until at least 29 February there will be some disruption to our service. Some records and journals will be temporarily unavailable but all the books in the main library as well as the minutes and reports of the General Assembly and the Missionary Herald will still be accessible along with the microfilms of church records and 'The Witness' newspaper. We will continue to answer e-mail enquiries as far as possible and to receive visitors in person.
We would advise you to check in advance of your visit if the records/books that you want to consult will be available
When thinking about a gift why not consider giving a friend or family member Society Membership
while at the same time supporting the work of the Society.
